History
ANCO Maritime Activities Ltd was founded in Piraeus at 1997 by Mr Constantinos Angelopoulos an ex Lloyds Register senior surveyor. Mr Constantinos Angelopoulos was a LLR surveyor for 35 years offering his long experience in the industry to our clients for the optimisation of their performance and in order to solve technical problems.
Our managing director Mr Efthimios Angelopoulos an ex Germanischer Lloyd surveyor resigned from GL in order to join ANCO Maritime Activities Ltd on May 2008. His previous work experience in both classification society and shipping company provided him a complete overview of the shipping industry and enabled him to give solutions to problems and steer the company towards the right direction.

Staff & Services
ANCO Maritime Activates Ltd is a marine technical company offering NDT, Rope access, technical management and technical consultancy services to ship management companies. Our technical personnel are marine engineers and naval architects all with necessary experience in their field. Also we have an in house R&D department staffed with robotics engineers.

Innovation
Our company is constantly innovating by inventing new inspection methods. We have proven tract record by having commercial successful patents in our portfolio in relation to inspection methods of cargo tanks.

Robotics
Finally the last few years we have been investing our companies profits in order to develop a robotic ROV platform that could perform both inspections and maintenance onboard vessels. Our vision and motivation to solve existing problems enabled us to create a devise, first in its kind, with noticibly competitive advantage compared with existing practices and technologies.
This ROV will be a disruptive technology when released in to the market.
